2018 marks the 40th Anniversary of the rounding or Glendale “Ararat Chapter in 1976, It also coincides with Homenetmen’s Centennial celebrations worldwide.
Through these 40 years. our Chapter has achieved many successes and has endured multiple challenges. As members and supporters you have been part of our Chapter’s history and have invested significant time and effort helping the Chapter achieve its current respected position in the community and in the Homenetmen Family worldwide.
We are delighted to announce the launching of Ararat Chapter’s Heritage Center Project. This Center. which Will be located in the second floor reception area of the Main Campus, Will be a modern multi-media repository with permanent evolving evolving of Chapter’s history and accomplishments. The project was initiated by the Chapter Executive Board and is underway through the efforts of a committee. The key objective of the project is to create a one of a Kind attractive experience targeting both members and non-members. It will have a hands-on, interactive format where the youth can benefit from an educational experience.
Ararat Chapter’s Heritage Center will be named in honor or the late Yeghpayr Sevak Saginian. whose contributions to Ararat Chapter in Its initial precarious founding years were priceless The Heritage Center is planned to be opened in Fall/Winter of 2018, as part of Chapter’s 40th Anniversary and Homenetmen’s Centennial celebration programs.
