Homenetmen Glendale Ararat is pleased to announce the “Forest Lawn Endowment Fund Annual Scholarship” award event. One scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to a high school graduating student entering an undergraduate program in any community college or university within the USA during the academic year of 2024-25.  While this Scholarship is open to all eligible members of Homenetmen Glendale Ararat, it aims to benefit those students who have some involvement with the Armenian community and the local society. Therefore, in conjunction with Homenetmen’s mission of cultivating healthy minds in healthy bodies, the recipient of the “Forest Lawn Endowment Fund Scholarship” must be a student who can demonstrate leadership qualities and an understanding of the needs of the Armenian people and their role in the Armenian community.

To be eligible, you must:

  1. Be graduating from High School in spring/summer of 2024
  2. Be accepted/registered at a community college/university within the USA for academic year 2024/2025
  3. Have a minimum GPA of 3.2
  4. Be a current member of Homenetmen Glendale Ararat in good standing.

All applications must be submitted online to or mailed to the center office no later than Wednesday, July 31, 2024.  The mailing address is 3347 N. San Fernando Road, Los Angeles, CA 90065 (must be postmarked by July 31, 2024).  Incomplete applications and those not accompanied by official transcripts and proof of acceptance will not be considered for selection.
