Easter Festival

Homenetmen Glendale “Ararat” Chapter’s Fundraising Committee successfully hosted its annual Easter Festival on April 10, 2009 at the Glendale Civic Auditorium. This year’s event drew over 2100 attendees, who enjoyed a fun filled day with their friends and relatives. Due to the commendable work of our dedicated Organizing Committee members, who started their hard work about two months ago, along with over 150 volunteers who were invited to help on the day of the event, this year’s Easter Festival was well organized and managed.

The stage was very nicely decorated for the egg-hunt game, which attracted over 200 youngsters to enjoy their hunt for hidden eggs. The game booths were busting with excitement and keeping over 1000 young players busy throughout the event. The organizers did not forget about our very young participants at the “baby land” station, where the infants were able to play in their little safe surroundings and gave their parents a little break. In addition, Maggie the well known children’s singer graciously accepted to perform for our young audience.

The Food Court Committee did an excellent job in having great food, fast service and fun crew.

This event provides a great opportunity for the young families to reunite, meet friends and have an enjoyable, memorable and quality time.
