Ghapan's visit to "Ararat"
On Thursday, June 29th, Ghapan, Armenia's Mayor Mr. Armen Karapetyan and members of the Glendale-Ghapan sister committee visited Homenetmen Ararat Chapter. Board members Armineh Saint, Khachik Khalatian, Roubina Manoucherian, Varooj Mirzayan and Executive Director Armond Gorgorian were present to greet him and welcome him to our Center. After a brief meeting in the board room, where Armond Gorgorian gave a brief history of "Ararat" Chapter, its mission and accomplishments, a tour of the Center was given to Mayor Karapetyan during which he met with some of our athletes and even had a moment to shoot a few hoops since basketball is one of his favorite sports! We invite Mayor Karapetyan to come join us again in the near future!
