On the week of March 20, 2006, during two different events, three Homenetmen Glendale "Ararat" Chapter members were honored by two prestigious organizations due to their valuable contributions to the Glendale Community.
The first event, which was hosted on Thursday, March 23, 2006, by the Glendale Chamber of Commerce, drew more than 300 people and featured the presentation of the Chamber's Business of the Year award to Alan Pezeshkian's team at Countrywide Home Loans. In his turn, Mr. Pezeshkian, thanked the Glendale Chamber for the honor bestowed on him.
On the next day, at the Armenian American Chamber of Commerce's third annual gala banquet at The Castaway restaurant, Mr. Alec Baghdasaryan and Mrs. Jenik Akopian were recognized as businessman and businesswoman of the year, respectively. Worthy to note that both, Mr. Baghdasaryan and Mrs. Akopian emphasized the important role that family values have played in realizing their achievements.
The Homenetmen Glendale "Ararat" Chapter would like to congratulate its three members for their achievements and recognitions. We are glad to have such members in our organization and convinced that the exemplary individuality of such members will lead the future generations in becoming better citizens and, hence, will assist our organization in realizing its mission.
Alan Pezeshkian: A past chapter executive board member and a scoutmaster in Homenetmen Glendale "Ararat" Chapter, Mr. Pezeshkian has been a member since 1980. Throughout his membership, Mr. Pezeshkian has been a constant contributor to our Chapter.
Alec Baghdasaryan: Founder of Information, Integration Group Inc. Mr. Baghdasaryan has been a member of Homenetmen "Ararat" Chapter since 1998. Mr. Baghdasaryan has been a contributor and a valuable volunteer in our Chapter.
Jenik Akopian: Mrs. Akopian has been a member of Homenetmen "Ararat" Chapter since 1995. Throughout the years of her membership, she has been a great contributor and a valuable volunteer in our chapter. She has chaired several successful fundraising events in our organization.
