Executive Leadership Offsite a Success
On Sunday, February 12, 48 division executive committee members and staff attended a productive and fun Homenetmen Ararat Leadership offsite at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. The goal of the offsite was to bring together the executives of different departments to share their ideas and make suggestions and comments on how all divisions can work together and promote their goals as well as of Homenetmen Ararat. The offsite was also an opportunity to improve their team building skills and experience first-hand how open communications create a sturdier organization and strengthens internal and external communications.
Division executive committee members were also given the opportunity to revisit some of Homenetmen Ararat Chapter's policies and procedures. In different groups they modified these policies to meet our growing organizational needs. Each division also presented their goals for the year and the areas that they needed to focus more and how each department can work together to achieve their separate goals.
"The goal of this offsite is to have open communications across the board. It creates a positive atmosphere that garners a constructive environment and talented people who can work together to achieve their objectives and to strengthen our organization." Said Chairman of the Board, Mr. Armen Abrahamian.
