The Homenetmen Glendale Ararat Chapter

Chairperson: Mr. Garnik Abrahamian: Mr. Abrahamian has been a member of Homenetmen since 1997 and has been a Board member since 2002. Prior to that he has been a basketball coach and a member of Athletic Division’s Executive Committee. His wife and two children are also members of “Ararat”. Mr. Abrahamian is a financial advisor and has his own insurance agency.

Vice Chair: Mr. Serge Grakassian: Mr. Grakassian has been a member of Homenetmen since 2003 and has been a Board member for the last 2 years. Prior to that he has served as a Board member in the Armenian Cultural Ararat Organization in Tehran, Iran. Mr. Grakassian, is the managing director of the Medical Supply Company, he is married and has two children; one of them is a member of our soccer program.

Secretary: Mrs. Roubina Manouchehri: Mrs. Manoucheri has been a member of Homenetmen since 1980 and has been a Board member for the last 4 years. She has been active in all of our 6 Divisions and has been Executive Committee member in Scouting and athletic Divisions. It is worthy to mention that she was a member of Homenetmen Western Region’s first all star team and participated in First World Homenetmen Basketball Games in Canada. Mrs. Manoucheri is married and has two children, both members of our scouting and Basketball Divisions.

Treasurer: Mrs. Medik Khachikian: Mrs. Khachikian has been a member of Homenetmen since 1990 and has been Cultural Committee member since then. Mrs. Khachikian’s husband and their two children are members of “Ararat” Chapter. She is a manager in a financial institution.

Advisor: Mrs. Helik Issaghoulian: Mrs. Issaghoulian has been a member of Homenetmen since 2000 and has been a Board member for the last two years. She has been Fundraising Executive Committee member and has served as its Chair for two years. Her husband and their three children are also members of “Ararat” Chapter and her daughter is a member of our volleyball team.

Advisor: Mr. Robert Minassians: Mr. Minassians has been a member of Homenetmen since 1983 and in several occasions has served as an Executive Committee member of Scouting, Athletic and Programs Division. He is married and has three children, all active in scouting Division. Mr. Minassians is a building inspector for City of Los Angeles.

Advisor: Ms. Gayaneh Pezeshkian: Miss. Pezeshkian has been a member of Homenetmen as an active scout since 1989. Before becoming a Board member in 2007, she was a member of Scouts Division Executive Committee. Miss. Pezeshkian attended UCLA where she majored in Psychology and minored in Armenian and Women’s studies.

Advisor: Mr. Siamanto Avakian: Mr. Avakian has been a member of Homenetmen since 1992 and has been a member of Basketball Executive Committee. He has been coaching basketball for several years. Mr. Avakian is married and has two children. He has a bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering and Masters in Business and is Product Manager at Valin Corporation.

Advisor: Mr. Roubik Mardirosian: Mr. Mardirosian has been a member of Homenetmen since 1995 and has been a member of General Athletics Executive Committee. In the past several years, he has been managing our entire soccer program. Mr. Mardirosian is married and has two children who are members of our Scouting and Basketball Divisions. Mr. Mardirosian is a Civil Engineer and currently is a project manager at City of Pasadena.
