Table TennisTable tennis is a sport which offers the safest workout for practically all ages and both genders. It is a sport that can be played with just one other partner and it requires only a small room for any practice and game.Table Tennis at Homenetmen Ararat Chapter has been a part of the athletic division for over 30 years. The game has inspired many young and elderly men and women to be a part of the Homenetmen Ararat Chapter's Ping Pong team.
Objective:
Our objective in Table Tennis is to bring opportunity to many interested young and adult Armenians who seek to play, enjoy, practice and advance in the game of Ping Pong.
Goal:
The main goal in Table Tennis at Ararat Chapter is to train the young athletes to master the sport of Table Tennis and be a part of the USATT. Participate in USATT Sanctioned Games and achieve a USATT ranking.
Practices:
The Table Tennis practices are held every Monday and Thursday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm for youth under 18 years of age and 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm for adults over 18. Tuesdays 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm are dedicated to high rated players who train for tournaments.
Tournaments:
Every year the USATT (U.S. Table Tennis Association) holds many Sanctioned Tournaments in registered qualified sports centers in different parts of the country. We are proud to note that Homenetmen Ararat Chapter has been registered with USATT to hold USATT Sanctioned Tournaments. We have hosted three Sanctioned Tournaments in the past two years where many of our athletes have been a part of.
Membership:
Table TennisMembership to Table Tennis is available to all Homenetmen Ararat Chapter members. There is no extra fee for Table Tennis practices. It is open for all ages 7 years old & up.
