Pan Armenian Games

More than 2,500 athletes, from 94 cities around the world, participated in the Forth Pan Armenian Games which was held from August 18th to August 26th, 2007, at Yerevan.

Homenetmen Glendale Ararat Chapter participated in these games with a delegation of 80 athletes competing in eight team & individual categories as follows: Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Soccer, Men's Volleyball, Women's Volleyball, Ping Pong, Tennis and Track & Field. Glendale delegates captured third place overall among all participating cities.

Glendale medals were captured in the following sports:

• Track & Field, 100 meters - Gold
• Track & Field, 200 meters - Gold
• Men’s Basketball - Silver
• Women’s Basketball - Silver
• Men’s Volleyball - Silver
• Ping Pong - Bronze

Other achievements of Glendale squad were as follows:

• Soccer - 6th place
• Girls Volleyball - 6th place
• Team Ping Pong - 6th place
