Board of Directors

Chairperson: Mrs. Helik Issagholian
Mrs. Issagholian has been a member of Homenetmen since 2000 and a Board member since 2007. She has been a member of Fundraising Executive Committee and has served as its Chair for two years. Her husband and their three children are also members of "Ararat" Chapter and her daughter is a member of our volleyball team.

Vice Chair: Mr. Garen Shahinian
Mr. Shahinian has been a member of Homenetmen since 1998 and an Executive Board member from 1999-2002. He chaired the Programs Division Ex. Committee for three years. Mr. Shahinian’s wife and two daughters are active members of our organization. Mr. Shahinian has his own printing company.

Secretary: Mrs. Medik Khachikian
Mrs. Khachikian has been a member of Homenetmen since 1990 and a Board member for the last two years. She has also been a member of Cultural Executive Committee since 1990 and has chaired that committee for three terms. Mrs. Khachikian's husband and their two children are members of "Ararat" Chapter. She is a manager in a financial institution.

Treasurer: Mr. Aram Yeremian
Mr. Yeremian has been a member of Homenetmen since 1998. He has been a member of Fundraising Executive Committee and has served as its Chair for four years. Mr. Yeremian’s wife and their two children are also very active in the organization. Mr. Yeremian has his own printing company.

Advisor: Mr. Robert Minassians
Mr. Minassians has been a member of Homenetmen since 1983 and in several occasions has served as an Executive Committee member of Scouting, Athletic and Programs Division. He is married and has three children, all active in scouting Division. Mr. Minassians is a building inspector for City of Los Angeles.

Advisor: Mr. Garen Mesropian
Mr. Mesropian has been a member of Homenetmen since 1978 and has served on Cultural and Scouts Executive Committees. Mr. Mesropian was also appointed as Homenetmen Regional Scouts council for one term. Mr. Mesropian is Regional Operations Manager of a healthcare company.

Advisor: Mrs. Catherine Saginian Melikian
Mrs. Melikian has been a member of Homenetmen since 2003. She has been a member of Fundraising Executive Committee and has served as its Chair for two years. Mrs. Melikian is married with two children one of whom is active in our Basketball program. Mrs. Melikian has her own business.

Advisor: Mrs. Graziella Berberian
Mrs. Berberian has been a member of Homenetmen since 1998. She has been one of the original leaders of Cub scouts/brownies 3 and stayed active in that capacity until 2003. In 2009 she became a member of Programs Division Executive Committee. She is married with two children who are both scouts. Mrs. Berberian is a biochemistry nutritionist.

Advisor: Mr. Abkar Kalantarian
Mr. Kalantarian has been a member of Homenetmen since 1978 and an Executive Board member from 1991-1995. In 1993, he was the Executive Board’s chairperson. He has also been a member of Programs Divison’s Executive Committee for the past 3 years and its Chairman the last two years. Mr. Kalantarian is married and is a computer engineer.
